Is Art Really Dead?

I was listening to the comic musings of Bo Burnham, one of my favorite modern artists, and he got me thinking about something that worried me. Two questions came about in my mind: Do I consider myself an artist? and Do I only produce art for attention? One thing that I have come to terms with is that I, personally, am a proud creature. I am proud of what I know I can do, and I enjoy praise for what I think I can do. I crave attention and praise, and I like to believe that most other people do as well.
